Hi! Is it true that you don't have conclusions in task 1? What if I don't make 150 words? Can I add conclusion?

Hi BeeMag No - it is not true that you can't do conclusions. We train our students to write an overview at the end of the report, summing up the point of the chart/graph/table etc. Look at the examples here linkThe problem with some Task 1 Reports is that as an examiner, you are left thinking ... well, so what? because there is no summation of the data. If in doubt - write one!

I have read in few books to write an overview after introduction and no need of conclusion.What structure should I follow to get more than 7 band ?

Our advice is to write the introduction, then the body looking at the significant or interesting details, then an overview summing up the point of the chart/diagram etc. This shows 'progression' (starting at the beginning and finishing at the end) which is one of the key features of the examiner's marking criteria.
