Hello,
Some people think that children should receive formal training at school on how to be good parents in the future. Do you agree or disagree with this statement.
Some people believe that children should learn parenting skills by proper training at school. I completely disagree with this statement because children are too young and have paucity of time for learning this sensible issue.
It is considered that learning how to become good parents will have some benefits. Firstly, children could understand and value relationships from an early age. Secondly, formal training in parenting helps them to guide their children in the future and could facilitate proper grooming.
However, it is unwise to train children about parenting at schools. They are immature and highly sensitive to absorb in the major concept of upbringing. In addition, they can impart it by observing their parents at home. Hence, there is no need of formal training.
Moreover, they are already burdened with vast syllabus at school. Addition of an extra training class would create stress on them. At times they may be diverted from their actual goals and thus under perform at school, which eventually leads to poor academic results. Therefore, it is ascertained that giving formal training at school on hoe to become good parents is groundless.
I believe that although learning about proper parenting from school level itself may be beneficial but there are various other important aspects to be concentrated on at this age such as sports, health, nutrition and about charity work. Schools ought to include an extra class on moral values and humanistic virtues for the all round development of children.
In short, teaching parenting at school level is rootless issue and should be discouraged because of children being very young and disturbed from their studies, instead they should be encouraged for active learning,
You recently stayed at your friend’s place, to look after the house while he/she is away. You accidently damaged something in his/ her house. Write a letter to your friend and say
What was the accident?
When did it happen?
Suggest how the damage can be fixed.
Dear Lisa,
I hope you have relieved from the tiredness of long journey. I am writing this letter to say that I enjoyed very much staying at your home and also to inform you about that damage being done by me to your washing machine.
I had switched on the machine according to the instructions you had left at home. When I loaded clothes into it and started, it worked properly, but after a while in the stage of spiral dry, it automatically started vibrating because of which I cut off the power supply. Perhaps, due to sudden power cut there was a short circuit in wiring.
This happened before two days of your arrival. Moreover, I asked for a mechanic in your neighborhood but could not find the right person. Then I fortunately remembered that you bought machine just three months ago and it had a warranty of a year.
I am pretty sure that the damage can be fixed be calling to the customer service. They will detect the exact problem and either repair it or replace it.
Finally, I am sorry for the damage and I hope it will sort out soon. Keep in touch.
Yours,
Vishwa.
